Jason’s expertise lies in complex property placements, layered programs/structures, DIC/Catastrophe perils (Earthquake / Flood / Wind) and builders risk/course of construction. His knowledge and responsiveness, along with the rapport and teamwork he establishes on any given opportunity, makes him easy to work with, and leads to mutual success with clients.
Here is an example of him putting all of these qualities to use: “I had a client with a key account where they controlled all lines but the property. A renewal proposal for all lines including the property was critical in order to retain the account. When their go-to market came up short and put them in jeopardy of losing the whole account, I was able to come in and place the property for them. They successfully retained the account and picked up the property, now controlling the entire placement.”
Before joining Travis-Pedersen, Jason honed his Property Brokerage skills for seven years at a large national wholesale firm; prior to entering brokerage Jason was a production underwriter for a highly specialized MGA/MGU. This Chicagoan bears through the winters by skiing and snowboarding with his wife and three boys out west where he and his family are from.
